At tde, we are committed to delivering superior products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship. We are looking for a seasoned QHSE expert to lead and manage our QHSE programs across our various locations, business units and geographies.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental systems and programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices. This role involves conducting risk assessments, audits, and training to promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the organization.

  • QHSE Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and standards that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure consistent application of QHSE standards across all company locations.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and assess QHSE risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations, as well as industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
  • Audit and Inspection:
    • Lead and manage internal and external audits to ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Training and Awareness:
    • Develop and deliver QHSE training programs to employees at all levels.
    • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
  • Incident Management:
    • Lead investigations into QHSE incidents, including near misses, accidents, and non-conformances.
    • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor QHSE performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QHSE performance across the group.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor a team of QHSE professionals across multiple sites.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, engineering, and HR, to integrate QHSE principles into all aspects of the business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in a QHSE role, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Proven track record of managing QHSE functions in a multi-site, group-level environment.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with QHSE management systems and software.
