Bouchra Lamik-Thonhauser
Chairperson anD FOUNDER
With over 20 years of experience, she has held various management and executive positions. She holds a master’s degree in petroleum engineering, several patents and authors a number of scientific papers in the field of digitalization and drilling performance optimization.
Bouchra has received several awards, amongst them, the Austrian Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 and Special Entrepreneurial Performance from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. She is also actively involved in various industry associations and initiatives that promote sustainability and the transition to a low-carbon economy as well as diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility.
Gerhard Thonhauser

Prof. Gerhard Thonhauser, Head of Chair of Drilling and Completion Engineering at Montanuniversität Leoben and CEO of tde, is a world-renowned expert, educator, and innovator in the energy industry. His expertise is widely recognized in academia and industry, positioning him as one of the foremost authorities in the field of digitalization and energy technologies. His main goals are to drive efficiency and reduction of CO2 footprint of the hydrocarbon industry and the development of technologies to accelerate the transition to a hydrogen- and carbon-based industry. Prof. Thonhauser is author and co-author of more than 100 publications and several patents.
Allan Rentcome
BOARD MEMBER / SENIOR EXECUTIVE ADVISOR
Allan Rentcome has held various executive and technical leadership roles spanning more than forty years in the O&G and the broad Energy Industry. During his long career he provided executive leadership in global operational and product development roles focusing on Process Automation, Process Safety and Digital transformation in the Digital Oilfield. Before retiring in 2023 Allan was CEO of Sensia, a Joint Venture between Rockwell Automation and Schlumberger focusing on Automation and Digitization in O&G. Allan holds various patents related to Process Safety and has a BSc. In Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
Ahmed-Al-Mazrouei
Board Advisor
Ahmed is the Head of the London Office at Mubadala Investment Company. With over 21 years in the Oil and Gas industry, he has been instrumental in roles ranging from ADNOC’s negotiator to CEO of Emirates LNG, where he led a billion-dollar project. His tenure includes significant contributions at Dolphin Energy, pioneering the export of low Sulphur Condensate and enhancing its global standing. As Cepsa’s Chairman, he focused on Abu Dhabi operations, demonstrating his adeptness in leadership and negotiation. Ahmed’s Senior Board Memberships, including tde, FEWA, Nawah Energy Company, and OMV, highlight his industry-wide respect. Renowned for building strong regional and international relationships, Ahmed, an MBA graduate, is acclaimed for his strategic insights and substantial impact on the industry.
Kamel Ben Naceur

Kamel Ben Naceur is the CEO for Nomadia Energy Consulting, based in Abu Dhabi, and the Chairman of DAMORPHE, a nano-technology focused technology company. Mr. Ben Naceur has over 40 years of experience in the fields of oil and gas and alternative energy, innovation, research and development, energy markets, economics, and leadership of the world’s largest professional energy engineering association. His previous roles include serving as the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines Government of Tunisia, President of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Chief Economist at ADNOC Abu Dhabi, and Chief Economist as Schlumberger, Paris/Houston. Prior to that he held several executive management positions in Schlumberger around the world. He is serving and has served on the boards of a number of international businesses and organizations and is the recipient of several prestigious medals and honors. He is the co-author of 15 books and over 120 articles on energy and sustainability. Mr. Ben Naceur holds a bachelor’s degree in in Mathematics from the University of Paris, a Master’s Degree Engineering from École Polytechnique Paris and an Aggregation in Mathematics from École Normale Supérieure, France.
Karl Rose
Board Advisor
Karl Rose, with a 25-year tenure at Royal Dutch Shell and roles including Chief Strategist, returned to Austria in 2010 to establish Strategy Lab, a consulting firm in Vienna focusing on strategy for public and corporate clients, especially in energy. He served as Senior Director Policy & Scenarios at the World Energy Council, creating Global Energy Scenarios to 2050, and advised ADNOC’s CEO before becoming Senior Vice President for Strategy. Rose teaches at Karl Franzens University, holds board positions at Energie Steiermark AG and OMV AG, and is involved in startups in environmental technology and blockchain. An international lecturer and entrepreneur, Rose lives between Graz, Vienna and Abu Dhabi, with three adult children.
Sherwood Dodge
Board Advisor
Mr. Dodge is a financial services executive who in his 40 year career has had senior operating and investment roles with ADIA, GE Capital and Chemical Bank (merged into JP Morgan Chase) in the UAE, the US, the UK, Korea, and Thailand. He now advises LPs and GPs on private markets strategies and investments. From Jan. 2016 to April 2023 Mr. Dodge was the Global Head of Private Equities at ADIA where he was instrumental in setting and executing a new strategy and overseeing investment teams focused on private equity and private debt investment initiatives. Under his leadership the program saw a significant expansion primarily through co-underwriting of investments with GP partners in five targeted industry verticals as well as seeding new investment strategies undertaken by GPs. Prior to ADIA, Mr. Dodge spent 27 years at GE Capital. From 2013-2016 he was the Deputy CEO and Board Member at Hyundai Capital Services and Hyundai Card, the joint ventures in auto finance and credit cards between Hyundai Motors and GE. From 2009-2013 he was the CEO of GE Equity where he led private equity and corporate development activities of GE Capital Americas, focusing on aviation, energy, and venture investments. He directed GE’s private equity activities in Europe from 1999-2005. And was the President of GE Capital Thailand from 1994-1998.
Dimitar Todorov

With over 15 years of experience, Dimitar Todorov began his career at tde, holding various positions ranging from Drilling Data Engineer to management roles such as VP Operations, and presently serving as COO. He holds a master’s degree in petroleum engineering and has authored a number of scientific papers in the field of digitalization and drilling performance optimization. In his capacity as COO, Dimitar Todorov undertakes the responsibility of guiding our strategies, overseeing project execution, fostering client relationships, and driving innovation.
Thomas Woitischek

Since joining tde in 2014, Thomas has held several key positions, including Senior IT Systems Administrator, Scrum Master, Senior Lead IT Systems Engineer, and VP of IT, culminating in his current role as Chief Digital Officer. His educational background in Informatics and Industrial Engineering has been a cornerstone in his career, and he is currently further enhancing his expertise by pursuing an MSc in IT Management. Throughout his tenure at tde, he has been instrumental in driving technological advancements and implementing robust strategies that have contributed to the company’s growth and success.
Ian Lewis
CFO
Ian is a seasoned financial professional with over 35 years of experience. He has operated as CFO and COO across both multinationals and fast-growth entrepreneurial businesses, working in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, South Africa, and most recently in the United Arab Emirates. Ian holds extensive experience in the technology sector, as well as in oil and gas, banking, education, retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, and online publishing. Some of the larger businesses in which Ian has held senior roles include Honda, General Electric, ING Bank, and G42 in Abu Dhabi. He is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, having qualified in 1993, and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Ben Savage
Group HR Director
Ben has over 20 years of experience in human resources, during which he has led diverse people functions across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the USA. He has supported both established multinationals and startups through successful mergers and acquisitions, change management, rapid growth, and market downturns.
Prior to joining tde, Ben spent 5 years with Virgin Hyperloop and was part of the senior leadership team and counsel to the CEO/CFO. He led the people and corporate functions, in the successful transfer of ownership to DP World. With his background as a Business Partner, he joins tde with a focus on employee welfare, people retention and growth, resource planning, collaboration and communication.
Artur Osipyan
Senior Commercial Advisor
With his strategic mindset centered around implementation, Artur can adjust his planning and execution to align with the higher-level objectives of an organization and its decision-makers, substantially increasing the certainty of desired outcomes. With over 20 years of experience in procurement and project delivery in the Oil & Gas industry, as well as significant exposure to Construction Giga Projects, Battery Energy Storage, and Decarbonization industries, Artur has acquired a deep understanding of supply chains, planning, and implementation strategies. This has enabled him to successfully complete numerous large-scale cross-functional projects with competing objectives, producing significant value for the organization.
