tde proNova develops a solution for CEPSA using Amazon S3 - the object storage service from AWS

tde values every client, providing the highest quality of service of data-driven services and technology for the oil and gas industry with the support of AWS solutions. CEPSA is one of many international clients where tde has combined its oil and gas industry expertise and the drilling data engineering product, proNova to develop a solution for CEPSA using Amazon S3 - the object storage service from AWS.

Challenge

CEPSA requested the automated export of raw data and KPI results into their own data lake within their AWS account. This is required so that CEPSA can use it as a data source for their own internal Business Intelligence reports and applications.

Recommendation

tde suggested to implement an automated process that exports raw channel data and KPI values in continuous intervals into an S3 bucket from CEPSA as part of the proNova data processing service.

Solution

Our proNova SaaS solution was extended with an additional software component to be configured per well for the automated export of raw data and KPI values into a target S3 bucket. The results from proNova are exported in WITSML (XML) and JSON format into the S3 bucket for CEPSA, where the data is collected, stored, and instantly accessed.
