Job description:
The Drilling Performance Engineer is a member of the engineering team and comes with a drilling background and experience. The main task of the PE is to be consult clients and assure that they are happy with the service. He/she assesses the performance of drilling operations and gives recommendations proactively.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive customer care
- Monitor daily drilling progress to ensure operations are conducted, applying the latest technologies and operational practices
- Provide engineering feedback and support to clients
- Perform analytical reviews of tracked operations
- High level quality control
- Hold coaching and training courses
- Hold performance workshops
- Discuss and propose “targets”, “cut offs” and other proNova configurations
- Analysis of drilling performance and coordination with PTL to implement changes in procedures
- Write technical proposals and support business development
- Write Performance Recap, End of Well Report, Performance Gab Analysis
- Support development and give constant feedback to development
- Continuous self-development
Skills & Professional Requirements:
- Very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of English, German
- Written and commercial understanding
- Hands-on experience with SQL database designs is a plus
- Ability to function well in an international team-oriented environment
- Willingness for shiftwork
- Experience in Data Analytics (Preferable)
Educational Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree Petroleum Engineering (preferable Drilling and Completion Engineering) or a relevant field. An equivalent combination of education and/or work experience will be considered.
As per the collective agreement, a monthly gross salary starts at € 2.956,17. Your actual offer depends on your skills, experience, and education.
