The primary role of the Electronics Technical Professional is to conceptualize, design, and validate electronic hardware solutions for both surface and downhole units. The position involves a pivotal focus on interfacing with third-party oilfield electronics, contributing to the overall success of our innovative projects.

  • Utilize expertise in telecommunication technology for the calculation, characterization, and simulation of cables.
  • Proficiently engage in microcontroller programming and construct comprehensive test setups for downhole electronic systems.
  • Drive the development of electronic circuits, ensuring robust and efficient designs.
  • Plan and establish testbeds, autonomously organizing and executing test runs to validate electronic hardware performance.
  • Proficient in EAGLE, ALTIUM, EPLAN, and microcontroller programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of modulation methods, filtering techniques, and circuit simulation.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficient in English (B1 level) and German (B1 level).
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronic engineering, with a proven track record of successful project contributions.
  • Willingness to travel and perform jobs in the field
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications engineering, electronics, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution (TU, FH, HTL).
