Job description:

Technical Writer role is to create precise and user-friendly documentation that meets high-quality standards, serving as a crucial bridge between complex technical information and end-users. By collaborating with internal teams and leveraging engineering expertise, the Technical Writer ensures the production of clear, multilingual content for interfaces, guides, and certifications. Ultimately, this role plays a key part in enhancing user experience and facilitating seamless understanding of intricate technical concepts within a dynamic and globalized industry.

Responsibilities:

• Create Comprehensive Documentation: Develop high-quality documentation for diverse audiences, with a focus on ATEX certification processes. Collaborate with internal teams to gather product information and understand documentation requirements.
• Craft User-Friendly Content: Write clear and concise text for interfaces, online help, and developer guides. Produce tutorials to assist end-users in navigating various applications.
• Ensure Consistency and Accuracy: Maintain consistency in terminology, style, and formatting. Conduct reviews to guarantee the accuracy and relevance of information.
• Stay Updated and Contribute to Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and changes in certification processes. Actively participate in feedback loops to enhance documentation quality and processes.

Educational Qualification Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical and/or electrical engineering

• Attention to Detail: Delivering high-quality documentation demands meticulous attention to detail.
• Analytical Thinking: Quickly grasping complex technical concepts and presenting them clearly is crucial.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent written skills in both English and German are essential for effective communication.
• Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts is necessary.
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is required.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Scrum is beneficial for seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical writer is necessary to ensure a thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices.

In accordance with the metal industry and trade collective agreement, the annual gross salary starts at €45.068,38. The final offer will be based on your individual skills and experience.
